PROFESSIONAL ZOOM ACTORS CLASS - ZOOM

July 13 - August 31 (8 weeks)
Thursdays 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM / $160

A Zoom acting class with a focus on skills for film and theatre. With the atmosphere of a "company of players," you'll work on scenes and monologues, inspired by the instructor's coaching and direction, and there will be the benefit of having the recording to learn from each week. Requirement: Students will need a strong wi-fi connection and be sure to download the Zoom app. Contact Nancy with any questions. Professional Actors Class - IN PERSON

July 12 - August 30, 2023 (8 weeks)
Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM / $160
Maximum 10 students------Ages 18-Adult


An ongoing in-depth class for actors who want to master their craft while preparing themselves for auditions and work. Students work on scenes, monologues, auditions, and storytelling, with a teacher who brings decades of experience in the professional world of New York and Hollywood.
Phone conversation with the instructor required for new students. Returning students encouraged.

Playing With Shakespeare

July 10 - August 28, 2023 (8 weeks)
Mondays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM / $160
Maximum 10 students------Ages 18-Adult


Back by popular demand! This acting class brings together a love of language, magic, mood, intrigue and, of course, some of the most beautiful theatre ever written! All in a frothy concoction that's just As You Like It, filled with Shakespeare's Scenes, Soliloquys, Sonnets and more! No previous experience required. Returning students always more than welcome!

Requirements For Zoom Classes
Download zoom to device.
To use Zoom, you'll need the following:
A computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
An internet connection of at least 0.6 Mbps per user.
A microphone and a speaker or, alternately, a teleconferencing headset.

All classes at Lakewood follow COVID-19 safety protocols suggested by the CDC.

We are working hard to ensure a safe environment for educators and students alike. Distancing protocols and guidelines have been relaxed but will be adjusted if needed. Currently, masks are optional for students. However, If a student exhibits any symptoms, we ask them to stay home and get tested for COVID-19 before returning to class.
